Seizing the golden moments after cardiac arrest.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a lifesaving technique that’s useful in many emergencies, such as a heart attack or near drowning, in which someone’s breathing or heartbeat has stopped.
Here’s how you should perform CPR to people at different age group:
- Adults: Press down 2 inches with both hands between nipples.
- Children (1-8y/o): Press down 2 inches with one hand between nipples.
- Infants: Press down 1.5 inches just below their nipple line with two fingers.
*Perform 30 chest compressions at a rate of 100/ minute, letting the chest rise between each.
